Industrial Metalforming Technologies (IMfT) is an organisation catering for any company, association or individual having an interest in metalforming.

This extends beyond metalforming practioners to those in the up and downstream chains of suppliers and customers.

On 1st October 2010, IMfT changed from having a traditional fee paying membership to a web based body offering FREE MEMBERSHIP on registration at the web site. If you have an interest in metalforming and its technologies then please register to become a free member if you wish to by emailing events@imft.co.uk.

IMfT offer metalforming consultancy and product development in conjunction with Technology Forming Ltd.

Conferences

In 2005 IMfT organised two prestigious international conferences The 11th International Cold Forming Congress and The 38th International Cold Forging Group Plenary Meeting. Both were held at the Racecourse, Chester in the North West of England. For further details please visit 11 ICFC & 38 ICFG.

In 2015 IMfT were on the Steering Committee of the 13th International Cold Forming Congress hosted by The Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) in Glasgow.

IMfT have acquired the proceedings of International Conferences on sheet metalforming, forging and hydroforming organised by the IFU, Stuttgart for the metalfoming library
